Mornington Peninsula : The Pinot Noir Paradise most people haven’t heard of

I discovered this beautiful Aussie coastal region filming the First Series of The Wine Show and I adored the wine, however not much of it was available here!

 BUT things are changing and the @drjamiegoode Pinot Noir masterclass which I attended, showcased 6 gorgeous examples of Pinot Noir that are all available in the UK and are £50 or under.. which is a steal given the quality.

What makes it such a special region?

Cooling Coastal Winds: 💨
Surrounded by Bass Strait, Port Phillip Bay & Western Port Bay– no vineyard site is further than 7 km from the ocean. This creates super elegant, vibrant wines with incredible depth and brightness

Rolling Hills & Ancient Volcanic Soils: 🌋
With diverse soils and undulating elevation to play with – grapes can naturally express complexity and gorgeous textures.

Boutique and World Class: 🌎
This picturesque region is home to around 50 boutique wineries creating elegant, handcrafted wines which seriously speak of where they come from.
